Charlize Theron, born on August 7, 1975, is a South African-American actress and producer. Renowned as one of the highest-paid actresses worldwide, she has received numerous accolades, including an Academy Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award, and a Golden Globe Award. Time magazine recognized her as one of the 100 most influential people in 2016.

Theron gained prominence in the 1990s with leading roles in films like "The Devil's Advocate" (1997), "Mighty Joe Young" (1998), and "The Cider House Rules" (1999). She earned critical acclaim and an Oscar for Best Actress for her portrayal of serial killer Aileen Wuornos in "Monster" (2003), becoming the first South African to win an acting Academy Award. Theron's successful career includes notable performances in action films such as "The Italian Job" (2003), "Mad Max: Fury Road" (2015), and "Atomic Blonde" (2017).
